Female Genital Mutilation:
Every girl counts!

A few minutes can change the life of a girl forever. With a few cuts, the clitoris and labium are removed. The consequences, such as pain, infection, infertility and dangerous childbirths, remain. There are 150 million girls and women worldwide affected by this form of violence.
In Germany, over 5,000 girls are exposed to the risk of genital mutilation. As part of the Germany-wide campaign Don't Cut into Life! we are helping ensure that girls can grow up safely.
Help us prevent this gross abuse of human rights and protect girls!
