Some impressions from the Roundtable Discussion
on 20th of November 2004.

On Saturday 20th of November the directors were discussing the topic of "Human Rights of Women - a topic in Filmmaking" at the roundtable in the cinema Arsenal.

Screening of "Yasmin"

To the screening of the film "Yasmin", the main actress of the movie,
Archie Panjabi, came to the film festival.

Ayse Polat (director), Christa Stolle (Managing director of TERRE DES FEMMMES e.V.) and Jeanine Meerapfel (director) were in the audience of the sold out screening of "Yasmin".

Discussion after the screening of "Cautiva"

To inform about the background of the movie "Cautiva" the well known Argentinian/German director Jeanine Meerapfel came to the screening.

After the screening of the film "Cautiva" there was an moving talk with a representative of the "Coalition against impunity", the audience and a relative of one the victims of the military dictatorship in Argentina.
