Franziska Müller
“Such a variety of perspectives as presented at this film festival is also a policy of peace, since war means simplification and unification of opinion.”

“It is important to present women in the first place not as victims, but as active, thinking subjects and to convey their strength and energy” – an essential perspective mentioned by all of the participants.

Shira Richter
“Conflicts enter your body, your blood. That’s why it is so important to work on an emotional level.”
Beate Neuhaus
“The media have such an enormous strength to show people their own lives and to initiate through this certain healing processes.”
Ulrike Baur
“From the womb through the heart into the head.”

Anwar Jamal together with translator Penelope Pinson
“Images and imagination are more important than information.”

Elke Jonigkeit
“For me it is important to show women who, despite their hard fate, don’t give up, but feel responsible to help other women, who became victims.”
