Museum Cinema was full of enthusiastic women and also quite many men, who were visibly enjoying themselves with the film "Real Women have curves"

f.l.t.r. Irene Jung (Filmfest Coordinator), Christa Stolle (Director of TERRE DES FEMMES) and Dr. Susanne Omran (In charge of women´s issues of the University Town of Tübingen) opened the enthusiastic night.

Film Director Shira Richter from Israel already joined the opening night. She will present her film "Two States of mind" on saturday at the Arsenal Cinema.

The opening party matched the promises of the opening screening: the public was enchanted and enthusiastic listening to the music group "Cántaro" which had its first public appearance at the filmfest. The newly formed group includes well-known Tübinger musicians: Sergio Pinto, Carolina Aliaga, Rolf Nill, Maribel Morejón und Wolfram Karrer.

Film directors Shira Richter from Israel and Anwar Jamal from India had just arrived in Tübingen to participate in the opening night. They already startet to have intense discussions which will culminate in the round table
"Human rights of women in regions in crisis - a cineastic look" with others of the ten filmdirectors who are invited by the Film Festival.
